Hmm... So, it's been a few, um... months... since I last logged in, let alone looked at my friends list, or updated. Yes, I should be spanked. I have a feeling I'll get -maybe- 1 comment, but probably not. Why? Cause ya'll don't remember me. ;)

I play a LOT of Netwinner. Netwinner is a game where you pick numbers, and try to win points. 100% free to play. Your points are redeemed for free gift cards, which is how I plan to not spend a dime of our own money on Christmas this year. So far, I've redeemed 2 gift cards for a total of $50. I've never gotten any spam through them, but you can sign up through a different email address (get a free one) if you want to test the theory, or just to be safe.
I really like it, and I LOVE that it's free to play, and that I might actually get Christmas taken care of this year.

I'll be back on Sunday. I'm headed off with the girls to meet up with my parents and my dad's family. He's the youngest of either 11 or 12. See, I'm almost positive it's 12, but I can only ever name 11, so I'm not sure. There is: Gary (dad), Rich, Dan, Steve, & Jack for boys, and Mary, Caroline, Bertie, Donna, Peg... crap, now I know for certain I'm missing at least one. Fudge.
Anyway, my dad works for this guy who has private land on a river that he's turned into a psuedo camp ground. He lets his employees have it for a week over the summer. My dad's brother in law works there too, so they always get it the first week of August. Now, my dad will be 50 this year, so as the youngest, you can see that there are probably some much older. Aunt Caroline is the oldest and she has 1 great-grand daughter. Most of the brothers & sisters have 2-3 kids, plus spouses, plus grand kids. Yeah, we can pack a place in nicely. ;)
Not everyone comes. For instance, Uncle Steve won't show. Uncle Dan is in jail for many years to come (he's turned into the black sheep), Aunt Bertie has spent her life in an institution because she can't function on her own, Uncle Jack lives in North Carolina (though in this instance, he is suppose to be up), and Uncle Rich lives on the road. He's a truck driver, but even outside of that, him and my Aunt Liz don't own a home. They sold it many years ago, and spent the money on a HUGE ASS MOTORHOME. I mean, like HUGE. So incrediblly huge it could house a rock band on tour.
Anyway, I know Uncle Steve won't show. Uncle Dan won't, but his wife and son will (his daughter might, with her husband and thier 2 kids, not sure yet). Aunt Bertie is no. My Grandpa probably won't either.
Either way, I estimate a good 40 people counting kids.
I went up last year because my car died down there, and we had to get my dad's extra car to use. So, my grandma (one of the last weekends I got to spend with her. :( ) had me drive her up to that land in her car, and me and Raegan stayed the night with my dad at the camp site, but other than that, it's been YEARS since i've been camping.
I've got itchy feet to get on the road. :)

So, I just slept the sleep of the dead. Yep, 15 hours of uninteruppted sleep.
See, on Tuesday night, I couldn't sleep, and it was Wen morning before I was getting tired (around 6am). But, by then, it's a toss up- get 3 hours of sleep and feel more tired, or just struggle through the day. Usually, I feel fine if I struggle through the day. I get a bit sleepy here and there, but nothing like what I was feeling yesterday.
Come noon, I was exhuasted.
Come 2, I was exhausted, and felt buzzed. Very shakey, dizzy, light headed, and couldn't concentrate on anything.
Come 4, I was all the above, and even MORE tired.
Come 4:30, I was in bed just waiting for Nick to get hom.
Come 5, I was in dream land.
Ok, so only 14 and a half hours of sleep. And I did wake up a few times, but it was still dark each time, so I just went back to sleep.
It was fabulous!

Stolen Kisses
By Gilly
Pairing: Fred/Hermione/George
Rating: PG-13 for language
Word Count: 1,351
Summery: Hermione steals something that wasn’t hers to steal, and is caught red handed.
AN: Sorry it has taken SO long to get this updated. My muse left me floundering. This is all stuff I wrote back months and months ago. If anyone has any idea's on where to take this, let me know!
Part: 2 of ??? This story is NOT complete, just one part. No screen-steaming foreplay… yet. ;) Fluff abounds, though.

I of course do not own the characters, or well, anything, short of some bills, a computer, and the clothes I am wearing. Ok, maybe a bit more than that, but the point is, the idea for the story is hatched of my own head, and other than that, I only use characters which J.K. Rowling has thoughtfully gifted the world with.

Rating: R
Summery: 11 years after graduation, Draco is a lonely man, whose wife and son were murdered years before. To pull out of his depression, he returns to Hogwarts as the new Potions Instructor.

I got $100 in the mail today! yay!
I won a contest about a month back, an instant win, and was told in email that I'd get it 8-10 weeks after the end of the contest, which ends September 30th. I was expecting it sometime around December! So, yay, nice lil bonus in my box today. :)

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060706/ap_ on_bi_ge/florida_smokers
Basically, a Florida court rejected a lawsuit that would bring about $145BILLION in punitive damage to 3 smokers who have gotten cancer, and sued the cigarette companies.
Ok, if it had been 3 non-smokers who got cancer from 2nd hand smoke, I'd be like.. at least pay thier medical bills. But come on, 3 smokers who willingly and knowingly smoked cigarettes that EVERYONE ON EARTH knows is bad for them??? It's not like those 3 people were singled out, and put in an isolation booth while the rest of the world was preached to about the dangers of cigarette smoke.
I'm so sick and tired of people who refuse to take responsiblity for thier own actions. A few months ago, I posted a rant about this, only regarding the idiot parents who bought fattening food for their kids, then sued the food company, AND the tv station that advertised it, because it made thier kids obese. Hello!!! The companies did NOT make your kids obese! YOU DID, you freaks! I have nice skinny kids, thank you very much. Skinny, non-smoking kids. Why? Cause we tell them DAILY they can't eat all the Spongebob Sugar Squares they want, and preach to them daily that cigarette smoke WILL kill you. They had a grandpa who died from cigarette induced lung cancer. THEY KNOW IT"S BAD!!
-grumbles-
I hate idiots. Take fucking responsibility for your own fucking actions. No one forces you to buy the cigarettes, open them, light them, and suck in the tar that will eventually kill you, least of all a company who is doing what all good companies do: making money off people willing to pay for death.

My LJ is up for renewal. This blows. I can pay $5 every 2 months, which I can afford, or $25 all at once, which at the moment, I can not afford.

I first noticed him as Colonel Tavington, in the Patriot. Yum. Just.. yum. Bad, gorgeous, accented... where do I sign up? Then, to add him in as Lucius & Captain Hook? I think I've died and gone to Heaven.
So, I was just watching an ad for Brotherhood, where the ugly brother says to Jason Isaacs- "You're like a tornado- you suck up everyhting in your path, and spit it back out."
And then I had to think... "Hey, suck me up and spit me back out. At least I'll go with a smile..."

Title: Worth Considering
Words: 127
Rating: G
Summery: Hermione contemplates boys
Pairing: Hermione/Charlie
Author: Gilly
She'd never really cared to look at boys much before. Sure, they would catch her eye at times, but on the whole, she found boys to be rather disgusting. They sweat all the time, they were usually dirty, they always looked so bloody awkward, and they never smelled good.
That is, she thought all of that, and more, until she saw him. Bloody perfect Charlie, all grown up, and clean, and sure, he sweat, but it made his pale skin glisten. And he smelled good, like fresh air, and cut grass.
She never realized just how good boys could look until that summer day, when Charlie and Ron were de-gnoming the garden, and Charlie took that blasted shirt off. Yes, perhaps boys were worth considering, after all.

Ok, I belong to several money-saving yahoo groups, and today, I posted my link to 2 of them, hoping to get a few extra votes for my split-the-money.com thing.
I'm first of all overwhelmed by the support I got. I'm so appreciative of all the votes, and the cheering on I've gotten.
Next, I'm flabbergasted and floored, because Liss over at budget101.com put me on her FRONT PAGE!!!
